Emergency contact numbers
In any kind of emergency in Portugal, you can call the emergency number (112) from any telephone to speak to the emergency services. Depending on the nature of your query, the operator subsequently routes you through to the medical service, fire service, or police.
The Public Security Police (Policia de Segurança Publica or PSP) is responsible for policing metropolitan areas and major cities. The nearest PSP office to Casa Coelho is close to Santa Apolónia train station on the square near the Military Museum (Largo Museu da Artilharia, nº1) to the left of the Tourism service desk.

Security when in the house
The smart lock is battery-operated. The primary challenge with the lock can be solved by replacing its battery block with a charged one, or recharging the battery block on it with a USB cable. If you encounter any challenges with the lock, please reach us over the phone or by text.
The crime rate in Lisbon is very low. Just as a caution, we request that you securely lock all doors and windows before you retire to bed and before you check out. The entrance to the house and exterior areas like the verandah and patio are monitored by motion-activated video cameras during times the apartment is not rented.
Fire and CO alarms are located in the kitchen and in each bedroom.
A Fire Extinguisher is located at the end of the hall outside the apartment door.
The electrical panel and internet router are located in the utility closet in the hallway connecting the master bedroom to the guest bedroom and full bath. The first aid kit and emergency lights are located in the supply closet next to the utility closet.
